From 18th – 22nd August, we’re stepping out together for Love Coleraine: five days of serving our community together, sharing the love of Jesus, and blessing our town in practical ways.
We’re inviting the whole CCV family to join in. Whether you can serve for a few hours or the full week, there’s a place for you. Keep reading for all the details you need to know, and head to our website for FAQs.
Mornings will be spent serving at our Kid’s Club, ‘Beyond’. At midday, we’ll gather for team lunch, with encouragement and input from some visiting guests. In the afternoons we will send out three teams for practical projects as we serve local schools and community spaces.

Why are we doing this?
We’re praying that our town would come to know Jesus – for a move of God’s Spirit across Coleraine, reaching into homes, schools, and streets. We believe one of the most powerful ways to witness is to love well: to show up, serve, and meet real needs with real kindness in Jesus’ name.
Love Coleraine is more than a busy week – it’s a moment to reflect the heart of Jesus, to serve selflessly and love practically, showing our town that God sees them, knows them, and loves them deeply. This is about mission and family – believing for transformation and creating space for people to encounter Jesus through simple, radical acts of love.
Mornings: Kids Programme
Each morning between 10am-midday, we’ll run a vibrant kids programme called ‘Beyond’ – sharing the story of a God who can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, through the miracles of Jesus. Loads of children in our community will hear the gospel, have loads of fun – and we need your help to make it happen!
One way you can step in and serve is as part of our Beyond Kids Team. Serving on this team will be loads of fun – we need to team to lead age-specific kids groups, host games and activities, lead worship and upfront teaching, and welcome families through hospitality and registration. Whether you’re experienced with kids or just up for giving it a go, there’s a space for you.
We’ll be flyering local schools to invite as many families as possible – and the number of kids we can welcome depends on how many team members we have. So if you’re up for jumping in, please sign up today.

Afternoons: Practical Outreach Projects
In the afternoons, we’ll roll up our sleeves and get stuck into practical projects across Coleraine – serving schools and local spaces through gardening, painting, litter-picking and more. We’ll be sending teams to 3 amazing projects:
1. Paint a wall at Macosquin Primary School, making their playground a colour-filled space by illustrating the school’s values creatively on one long wall across a side of their playground.
2. Build a forest school area for young people at a local school, including fencing, a poly tunnel, planting, seating, and sensory artwork. This is a chance to create a calm, safe space where kids can flourish.
3. Bless Harpers Hill Primary, right on our church’s doorstep, through practical projects that show we see them and we’re for them.
Whether you’re a skilled tradesperson, good with a paintbrush, love gardening, happy to get stuck in with anything – there’s something for every age and stage.
