From 17th – 21st August, we’re stepping out together for Love Coleraine: five days of serving our community together, sharing the love of Jesus, and blessing our town in practical ways.

We’re inviting the whole CCV family to join in. Whether you can serve for a few hours or the full week, there’s a place for you. Keep reading for all the details and to find out more about the different teams you can be apart of!

Why are we doing this?

We’re praying that our town would come to know Jesus – for a move of God’s Spirit across Coleraine, reaching into homes, schools, and streets. We believe one of the most powerful ways to witness is to love well: to show up, serve, and meet real needs with real kindness in Jesus’ name.

Love Coleraine is more than a busy week – it’s a moment to reflect the heart of Jesus, to serve selflessly and love practically, showing our town that God sees them, knows them, and loves them deeply. This is about mission and family – believing for transformation and creating space for people to encounter Jesus through simple, radical acts of love.

🔧 Practical Service Team

Across afternoons and evenings we’ll roll up our sleeves and get stuck into practical projects in Harpurs Hill – serving the school and local spaces through gardening, painting, litter-picking and more!

Whether you’re a skilled tradesperson, good with a paintbrush, love gardening, happy to get stuck in with anything – there’s something for every age and stage! Let us know if you’d love to be involved!

🚀  Beyond Kids Team

Each night from 6.30pm – 8pm, we’ll run a vibrant kids programme called ‘Beyond’ – sharing the story of a God who can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, through the miracles of Jesus. Loads of children in our community will hear the gospel, have loads of fun – and we need your help to make it happen!

One way you can step in and serve is as part of our Beyond Kids Team. Serving on this team will be loads of fun – we need to team to lead age-specific kids groups, host games and activities, lead worship and upfront teaching, and welcome families through hospitality and registration. Whether you’re experienced with kids or just up for giving it a go, there’s a space for you.

We’ll be flyering local schools to invite as many families as possible – and the number of kids we can welcome depends on how many team members we have. So if you’re up for jumping in, please let us know you’re interested today.

🙏 Prayer & Outrech Teams

This year, Love Coleraine will feature roaming prayer teams out and about across the town, as well as Healing on the Streets, offering prayer to anyone who would like it right in the heart of Coleraine. If you’re brand new to this kind of outreach, or if you’ve tried it before, there’s a place for you on one of these teams! Sign up here!

🍔  Hospitality Team

One of the best things about Love Coleraine last year was the mealtimes we spent eating and praying together. This is a key part of our Love Coleraine Week and one that we don’t want to change! This year, everyone on teams will meet for dinner together before we head out to serve for the evening.
