Kids & Youth

Kids and Youth

We have Under 18 environments during our service. These are fun-packed with games, stories and worship. If it’s your child’s first time with us, let us know your details in advance to speed up the kids check-in process on a Sunday morning.

0 - 11s

When you arrive, head to the Kids Foyer to sign in your child. Our team will be on hand to then direct you to the appropriate environment, where you will drop off your child for the service. You’ll pick up your child from the same room at the end of the service.

Kids environments run through the duration of the service, beginning at 10:30am. Kids sign-in is open from 10:15-10:45am.

To ensure the safety of our kids and teams, and the quality of the programs we provide, we maintain appropriate adult to child ratios which dictate how many children we can facilitate in each room. Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis.

11 - 18s

When you arrive, come into the auditorium, where you’ll meet our Youth team in khaki t-shirts who will welcome and register you. CCV Youth begin in the adult service for worship (lasting about 20 minutes), before heading upstairs to their own environment for games, snacks, teaching and more!

CCV Youth gather at various points in the week. Check the What’s Happening page, or follow @ccvyouth_ on Instagram to find out more.

Special Educational Needs

We want to provide an environment where every child can encounter Jesus and explore faith. We have a designated environment for primary-age children with additional needs, this space has limited capacity. For more information, contact Wendi during the week.

During the Service

Our Host team in blue t-shirts will welcome you at the front door and can help you to find a seat in the auditorium. If you have any questions about accessibility, feel free to chat to one of them.

When our service begins, our team on the stage will introduce themselves and then we’ll head into a time of musical worship. We spend about 15-20 minutes singing songs to God, giving thanks for who he is and telling Him how much we love Him. A band will lead us, and the lyrics will appear on the screen. You’re welcome to join in or just sit back and listen.

After worship, we’ll share some stories and information about what’s happening around CCV. A member of our teaching team will then do a short talk from the Bible. The whole service will last around 75 minutes, with time to stay around for coffee afterwards. If you have kids, please pick them up when the service finishes.

After the Service

Tea & Coffee
